Reaction Steps
To a solution prepared from 8-[3-[4-(2-methoxyphenyl)1-piperazinyl]propyloxy]-7-hydroxy-8-azaspiro[4.5]decan-9-one, 60 ml of CH2Cl2 and 30 ml of trifluoroacetic acid was added triethylsilylane (1.26 ml) in one portion. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1.5 hours.
