The title compound was prepared in 44% yield from methyl 3-bromoisonicotinate and 3-amino-5-trifluoromethyl-1-methyl-indazole according to the general procedure for Example 6. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 4.05 (3H, s), 7.72-7.83 (3H, m), 7.99 (1H, s), 8.21 (1H, d, J=5.0 Hz), 9.64 (1H, s), 10.69 (1H, br s), 14.12 (1H, br s).
