Conditions
- Temperature
- 70 °C
Procedure
A mixture of the compound prepared in example 103 (100 mg, 0.188 mmol) and concentrated HCl (10 mL) was heated to 70° C. and stirred at this temperature overnight. The reaction mixture was allowed to cool to rt, diluted with water and extracted with EtOAc. The organic layer was washed with a saturated aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate and water, dried (Na2SO4), filtered, and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (CHCl3/MeOH, 99:1) to afford the title compound. tR: 6.02 min (HPLC 2); ESI-MS: 549 [M+H]+ (LC-MS 2); Rf=0.47 (CHCl3/MeOH, 9:1).
