To a mixture of 4-(3-chloro-4-(1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamido)phenoxy)picolinamide (160 mg, 0.33 mmol) in EtOAc (3 mL), CH3CN (2.5 mL) and H2O (1.3 mL) was added iodobenzene diacetate (130 mg, 0.40 mmol) at 0° C. The reaction was stirred at 0° C. for 30 minutes, then warmed up to rt and continued to stir for 3 hours. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was purified by a silica gel column chromatography (DCM/MeOH (v/v)=25/1) to give the title compound as a beige solid (100 mg, 67%).
