The title compound was prepared from iodomethyl 2-(methyloxy)ethyl carbonate (122 mg, 0.468 mmol), 1b (50 mg, 0.117 mmol), potassium carbonate (48 mg, 0.351 mmol), and tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate (40 mg, 0.117 mmol), using a similar process to that described in example 1. 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 10.20 (m, 1H), 8.42 (s, 1H), 7.34 (m, 1H), 6.80 (m, 2H), 5.94 (d, J=6.8 Hz, 1H), 5.87 (d, J=6.4 Hz, 1H), 5.30 (dd, J=10, 4 Hz, 1H), 4.59 (m, 2H), 4.43-4.29 (m, 5H), 3.92 (m, 3H), 3.70-3.61 (m, 3H), 3.36 (s, 3H), 1.40 (d, J=6 Hz, 3H). ES+ MS: 538 (M+1).
