Procedure

60 mg of 6-chloro-N-(3-nitrophenyl)pyrimidin-4-amine hydrochloride, 32 mg cyclohexylamine and 69 mg of DIPEA were dissolved in 1 mL of n-BuOH and charged into a microwave vial and the vial obtained heated to 200° C. for 60 minutes under microwave irradiation. The reaction was monitored by TLC. The crude product was precipitated from n-BuOH. Purification was carried out by filtering and washing with cold n-BuOH. Pure N4-cyclohexyl-N6-(3-nitrophenyl)pyrimidine-4,6-diamine in the form of a colorless solid was obtained.
