Procedure

To a solution of the product from Step D (0.10 g, 0.21 mmol) in CHCl3 (2.1 mL) was added HCl (2.1 mL, 8.4 mmol, 4.0M in 1,4-Dioxane) and the reaction was stirred at ambient temperature for 5.0 hours. The resulting off-white suspension was directly filtered and the solid was washed with Et2O and dried in vacuo. This provided 0.089 g (88%) of the desired product as an off-white solid. MS ESI (+) m/z 378.1 (M+1) detected.
