The product from Step A (0.017 g, 0.036 mmol) was dissolved in CHCl3 (1.0 mL). HCl (0.27 mL, 1.1 mmol, 4.0M in dioxane) was added. The reaction stirred at ambient temperature for 7 hours. The reaction was diluted with Et2O (10 mL) and the mixture filtered. The solid was washed with Et2O and dried in vacuo to afford 0.0098 g (55%) of the desired product as an off-white solid. MS ESI (+) m/z 376.1 (M+1) detected.
