A mixture of 0.84 g of 4-bromo-2-methyl benzoic acid amide and 18 mL of N,N-dimethylformamide dimethylacetal was stirred at 70° C. for 30 minutes. After the completion of the reaction, the solvent was distilled off-under reduced pressure, and the residue was washed with 5 mL of hexane to obtain 0.67 g of the aimed product as white crystal.
