Reaction Steps

313 mg (818 μmol) of tert.-butyl-[(2S)-1-(2-benzoylhydrazino)-1-oxo-3-phenylpropan-2-yl]carbamate (intermediate 34) were stirred in 13 ml of a 4 N hydrogen chloride solution diluted in dioxane and stirred for 1 hour at RT. Then the reaction composition was evaporated and the residue vacuum dried. The yield was 255 mg (92% o. th.) of the title compound.
