To a solution of tert-butyl (3-((3-(3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)-2-hydroxypropyl) carbamoyl)phenyl)carbamate (500 mg, 1.18 mmol) in DCM (5 mL) was added TFA (5 mL). The mixture was stirred at 25° C. for 16 h. The reaction solution was concentrated, and the residue was dissolved in water, the pH was adjusted to 7˜7.5 with saturated aqueous of NaHCO3 and extracted with EA. The organic layer was concentrated to give the title product that was used in the next step without further purification (450 mg, crude). LCMS (m/z): 326.2 (M+1).
