tert-Butyl 2-bromo-9-methyl-5,7,8,9-tetrahydro-6H-pyrido[3′,4′:4,5]pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine-6-carboxylate (86 mg, 0.23 mmol) and 4-phenethylpiperazin-2-one (56 mg, 0.27 mmol) were reacted according to Example 2 (step e) to provide the title compound (76 mg, 67%) as a yellow powder: ESI MS m/z 490 [M+H]+.
