t-Butyl 4-{4-[({2-[(t-butoxycarbonyl)amino]phenyl}amino)carbonyl]phenyl}-3,6-dihydropyridine-1(2H)-carboxylate (Method 71, 62 mg, 0.13 mmol) was stirred and dissolved in 1,4-dioxane (0.4 ml) and a 4M solution of hydrogen chloride in 1,4-dioxane (0.4 ml) added. The reaction mixture was stirred at ambient temperature for 24 hours. The resultant precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with diethyl ether and dried in vacuo at 60° C. to yield the title compound as an off white solid (34 mg, 89%); NMR Spectrum: (DMSO-d6) 2.70 (m, 2H), 3.30 (m, 2H), 3.76 (m, 2H), 6.33 (m, 1H), 7.23 (m, 2H), 7.33 (m, 1H), 7.49 (m, 1H), 7.61 (d, 2H), 8.10 (d, 2H), 9.27 (s, 1H); Mass Spectrum: M+H+ 294.
