A mixture of 8-{1-[2-oxo-1-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrrolidin-3-ylmethyl]-1H-pyrazol-4-yl}-1,3-dipropyl-7-(2-trimethylsilanyl-ethoxymethyl)-3,7-dihydro-purine-2,6-dione obtained in step 5 (0.1 g, 0.148 mmol), 2 N HCl (3 ml), ethanol (2 ml) was heated at 85° C. for 3 hours. The mixture was cooled to 10-15° C. The solid obtained was filtered and washed with water, diethyl ether to obtain the title compound as a white solid (0.067 g, 83%).
