5A was prepared from 4-methoxybenzaldehyde and 5-methoxypyridin-2-amine following the procedure employed for the preparation of 4A. HPLC: Rt=1.30 min (PHENOMENEX® Luna C18 4.6×30 mm 3 u, A10-90% aqueous methanol containing 0.1% TFA in 2 min; 4 mL/min flow). MS (ES): m/z=244.9 [M+H]+.
