To a solution of 2-[4-(3-butyl-5-methyl-4-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenyl]ethyl(4-methylphenyl)sulfonylcarbamate (step 3, 14 mg, 0.026 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) was added 2 M aqueous NaOH (13 μL, 0.026 mmol). The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min and concentrated to afford the title compound as white solids: MS (ESI) m/z 532 [M+H]+, 530 [M−H]−.
