Reaction Steps
N-(2-{3-[4-(3,4-dichlorophenoxy)-1-piperidinyl]-2-hydroxypropoxy}phenyl)acetamide (1.418 g, 3.13 mmol, prepared by analogy to Example 1) was dissolved in 50 ml HCl (35%/aq, puriss) and refluxed overnight. The product precipitated and was filtered and dried to give 0.835 g (65%) of the title compound.
