Procedure

3-t-Butyl-5-(fur-2-yl-methylthio)-1H-1,2,4-triazole was reacted with dimethylcarbamoyl chloride by substantially the same procedure as described in Example 1 to yield 1-dimethylcarbamoyl-3-t-butyl-5-(fur-2-yl-methylthio)-1H-1,2,4-triazole, an oil.
