Procedure
The synthesis of peptide bond reaction from the 2-pyridylglycine.hydrochloride and glycine can be carried out, for example, as follows: To N-2-pyridylglycine, are added dichloromethane, N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and glycine ethyl ester. After stirring at room temperature for several hours, the reaction solution is filtered. The filtrate is purified by using, for example, high performance liquid chromatography to give Pyr-Gly-Gly-OEt.
