Reaction Steps
Reaction of N-cyano-N'-[2-((5-methyl-4-imidazolyl)-methylthio)ethyl]-S-methylisothiourea with excess 1,2-diaminoethane at room temperature gave N-cyano-N'-(2-aminoethyl)-N"-[2-((5-methyl-4-imidazolyl)methylthio)ethyl]guanidine, m.p. 164°-167°.
