Reaction Steps
The benzyl ether 3A (11.4 g, 22.1 mmol) was dissolved in THF, Pd/C catalyst (1.6 g) was added and the suspension stirred overnight under H2 atmosphere. The catalyst was filtered off, the solvent evaporated to afford 4A (9.4 g, 100%) as an oil.
