1-[1-(1-methyl-4-piperidinyl)-4-piperidinyl]-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine (92 mg, 0.190 mmol) was dissolved in 25 ml of hot ethyl acetate and maleic acid(66 mg, 0.571 mmol) in 5 ml of hot ethyl acetate was added. After 2 hours at room temperature, the solid was filtered and then dried to give 135 mg of 1-[1-(1-methyl-4-piperidinyl)-4-piperidinyl]-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine, trimaleate salt. 1H NMR (DMSO) 1.87(m, 2H), 2.22(m, 4), 2.45(m, 2H), 2.77(s, 3H), 2.18(bm, 9H), 5.06(m, 1H), 6.11 (s, 6H), 7.15(m, 5H), 7.45(m, 2H), 7.67(d, J=8.51 Hz, 2H), 8.27(s, 1H); LC/MS (MH+=484).
