A mixture of the thiol TFA salt from Step A (100 mg, 0.30 mmol), N-(3-Chlorophenyl)-2-chloroacetamide (61 mg, 0.30 mmol), and triethylamine (0.145 mL 1.040 mmol) in dichloromethane (2.0 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 6 h. The solvent was removed by evaporation, and the crude product was purified by HPLC to afford the title compound as a colorless solid, 127 mg (85%). MS (ES): 388 (M+H)+
