To a stirring solution of [4-{6-(3-[(2-Chloro-3-trifluoromethyl-benzyl)-(2,2-diphenyl-ethyl)-amino]-propoxy}-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (40 mg, 0.05 mmol) in methanol (0.8 ml) was added 1 N HCl in Et2O. The reaction mixture was stirred at RT for 4 h and concentrated under vacuum to provide the title compound as an off-white solid, 31 mg (91%). MS (ESI) 609.2 (M+).
