10 g. (0.042 mol) of 3-phenyl-4-hydroxy-coumarin and 10.1 g. (0.55 mol) of 2-piperidino-1-chlorethane hydrochloride are caused to react in the manner described in Example 1. 10.8 g. of a yellow oil are obtained, which cannot be crystallised. Yield 73% (theoretical yield 14.7 g.).
