3-(6-(5-(Cyclopropylcarbamoyl)-3-fluoro-2-methylphenyl)-4-formyl-1-oxoisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propyl acetate (Example 10d, 0.75 g) was treated with methanol (15 mL) and potassium carbonate (0.25 g) and the resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min, diluted with water and extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was dried (MgSO4), filtered and evaporated to afford the subtitle compound (0.67 g).
