2-[4-Dimethylamino-4-(4-fluorophenyl)cyclo hexylidene)-N-[2-(1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl]acetamide (871 mg, 2.08 mmol) was dissolved in ethyl methyl ketone (35 ml), and chlorotrimethylsilane (0.39 ml, 3.11 mmol) was added. After 1.5 h the hydrochloride was isolated as a beige-coloured solid with an m.p. of 217-221° C. in a yield of 85% (810 mg).
