Procedure

In a manner similar to that of Example 71, starting with 0.17 g (0.53 mmol) of methyl 2(S)-ethoxy-3-[4-(2-methylaminothiazol-5-yl)phenyl]propionate and 0.14 ml (1.1 mmol) of pentyl isocyanate, 0.06 g (26%) of methyl 2(S)-ethoxy-3-{4-[2-(1-methyl-3-pentylureido)thiazol-5-yl]phenyl}propanoate is obtained.
