4-{[(Benzoylamino)carbonothioyl][(2-butyl-4-chloro-1H-imidazol-5-yl)methyl]amino}-1H-imidazole-5-carboxamide (0.17 g, 0.37 mmol, obtained from Example 7(b)) was dissolved in ammonia (7 N in methanol, 3 mL) and the mixture was heated at 80° C. for 1 h. The mixture was concentrated and purified by preparative HPLC, obtaining the title compound (0.017 g, 14%) as a solid.
