The procedure described in Example 4.3. is repeated. Starting from 1.76 g (6.19 mmol) of 4-{2-[(4 bromophenyl)oxy]ethyl} prepared in Step 9.2., and 1.39 g (6.19 mmol) of ethyl{[(phenyloxy)carbonyl]oxy}-acetate, prepared in accordance with Example 1.1., gives 1.4 g of product in oil form.
