Procedure
To an ice-cooled solution of 2-chloro-4-(2-chloro-4-pyrimidinyl)-1,3,5-triazine (i.e., the product of Example 1, Step B) (290 mg, 1.27 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (20 mL) was added 4-aminotetrahydrofuran (284 mg, 2.8 mmol). The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight and then concentrated and purified using column chromatography on silica gel eluted with 60% ethyl acetate in hexanes to give 300 mg of the title compound as a white solid.
