Reaction Steps

The product from Example 3A was treated with trifluoroacetic acid:methylene chloride (1:2) at ambient temperature for 2 hours. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified on SiO2 (5% MeOH/CH2Cl2/1%NH4OH) to provide the title compound as a yellow gum. MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 221 (M+H)+, 238 (M+NH4)+.
