1-[4′-(5-tert-Butoxycarbonylamino-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-biphenyl-4-yl]-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester (0.49 g, 1.1 mmol) was dissolved in HCl (4 N in dioxane, 3 mL) and stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. The reaction was concentrated to dryness to yield the title compound as the hydrochloride salt.
