Reaction Steps

The mixture of 0.30 g (1.7 mmol) of 2-bromo-5-hydroxypyridine, 0.59 g (3.5 mmol) of 1-bromoethyl-2,2-difluorocyclopropane and 0.60 g (4.3 mmol) of K2CO3 in 10 ml ACN is stirred at 70° C. over night. The reaction mixture is filtered over alumina/activated carbon. The solvent is removed in vacuo.
