Procedure
90 mg of 4-(bromomethyl)-N-(4-chloro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)phenyl)benzamide was reacted with 45 μL of diethyl methylphosphonite in the microwave at 120° C. for 5 minutes. The reaction was evaporated to dryness and purified by reverse phase HPLC to give pure ethyl 4-(4-chloro-3-(pyridin-2-yl)phenylcarbamoyl)benzyl(methyl)phosphinate. MS (Q1) 429 (M)+.
