Procedure

To a solution of (1R,4S)-4-acetamido-N-(3-chloro-1-(pyridin-3-yl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-N-methyl-cyclopent-2-enecarboxamide (0.230 g, 0.639 mmol) dissolved in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO, 10 mL) was added 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU, 4.00 mL, 26.7 mmol). After stirring for 4 hours at a temperature of 100° C., the reaction was cooled and diluted with saturated aqueous NH4Cl (200 mL) and extracted with EtOAc. The organic layer was dried with anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel chromatography eluting with MeOH/CH2Cl2 to provide the title compound F41 as a yellow oil (0.120 g, 44%).
