The title compound was prepared (2.17 g, 57%) in a manner analogous to the preparation of 5-fluoro-3-benzo[b]furanpropanol tosylate (Example 21) by the reaction of 5-(2-bromo-4-chlorophenoxy)pent-3-yn-1-ol tosylate with n-Bu3SnH.
