To a solution of 5-{4-chloro-5-[4-(1,3-thiazol-4-yl)phenyl]-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl}-2-pyridinesulfonamide (200 mg, 0.412 mmol) in dichloromethane (6 ml) was added methanolic hydrochloric acid (2 ml) at room temperature. The solution stood for a while and a formed solid was collected to give 160 mg (74%) of the title compound as a white solid.
