A solution of di-tert-butyl [(3R,6S)-6-(2,3-difluorophenyl)-1-(2-hydroxy-2-methylpropyl)-2-oxoazepan-3-yl]imidodicarbonate (0.095 g, 0.185 mmol) in DCM (10 mL) was treated with trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL). After 1 h the reaction was concentrated to dryness to afford the title compound as a TFA salt. MS 313.2 (M+1).
