7-[2-(4-Fluoro-benzylamino)-benzoylamino]-4,4-dimethyl-3,4-dihydro-1H-isoquinoline-2-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (Step B, 0.57 g, 1.13 mmol) was treated with 10 mL of 50% of TFA in CH2Cl2 and stirred at RT for 1 h. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by flash column chromatography. The titled compound was obtained as a white solid. MS (ES+): 404 (M+H)+.
