Procedure

7-Benzyl-(2,3-Dihydro-benzo[1,4]dioxin-6-yl)-(5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-pyrido[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)-amine(700 mg, 1.8 mmol) was dissolved in methanol (25 mL) and palladium hydroxide was added (150 mg, 20% wt). The mixture was shaken on a Parr Shaker under H2(g) atmosphere (60 PSI) for 24 hours. The mixture was filtered through celite and evaporated to give 480 mg of material as a white solid, which was used as such for the next step.
