Procedure
A mixture of 1.33 g of 1-cyclopropyl-6,7-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid and 1.73 g of cis-1,2-diaminocyclohexane in 10 ml of pyridine was heated in an oil bath of 115° C. for 1 hour then filtered while hot. Cooling the filtrate afforded 1.09 g of the desired product, m.p. 270°-274° C.
