Versuchsvorschrift

640 μl (8 mmol) of a 70% solution of ethylamine and 20 ml of THF were introduced into a round-bottomed flask. A solution of 735 mg (2 mmol) of 4-(3,5,5,8,8-pentamethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2-naphthylthio)benzoyl chloride dissolved in 30 ml of THF was added dropwise and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for three hours. The reaction medium was poured into water, extracted with ethyl acetate, the organic phase decanted off, dried over magnesium sulfate and evaporated.
