Procedure

265 μl (1.905 mmol) of triethylamine and 96 mg (0.493 mmol) of 2,4,6-trifluorobenzoyl chloride were added to a suspension of 162 mg (0.476 mmol) of 4-aminomethyl-2-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-(pyridin-4-yl)-1H-pyrrole dihydrochloride [prepared as described in Example 5 above] in 3.3 ml of tetrahydrofuran. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 hours. At the end of this time, water was added to the reaction mixture and then this was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic extract was washed with water, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and then concentrated by evaporation under reduced pressure. The residue thus obtained was washed with diethylether to give 78 mg (yield 38%) of the title compound as a pale yellow powder.
