The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and then concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (hexane/ethyl acetate=2/1) to give 3,N,N-trimethyl-4-(2-triphenylsilanylsulfanyl-ethyl)-benzamide (1.24 g, 69%).
