The mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 30 minutes, benzenesulfonyl chloride (1.772 mL, 13.89 mmol) was added, and the mixture was stirred at 0° C. for an additional 2 hours. The mixture was quenched with 20 mL saturated ammonium chloride and diluted with water (100 mL). The resulting suspension was stirred for 5 minutes, filtered, and dried under-vacuum to give the title compound. MS (ESI+) m/z 340.0 (M+H)+.
