실험 절차

A solution of 0.3 g of N-[4-(2-pyridylaminocarbonyl)-(S,S)-2,4-dibenzylbutyryl]-S-benzyl-(L)-cysteine methyl ester and 1 ml of 1N sodium hydroxide in 2 ml of methanol is stirred at room temperature overnight. To the solution is added 1.1 ml of 1N hydrochloric acid. The solution is concentrated, diluted with water, the solid is collected and dried under high vacuum to give N-[4-(2-pyridylaminocarbonyl)-(S,S)-2,4-dibenzylbutyryl]S-benzyl-(L)-cysteine, melting at 75-80°; [alpha]D =+22.9°.
