The product of step b) was dissolved in EtOAc (50 ml) and 10% Pd/C (1 gram) was added. The flask was evacuated and purged four times with N2 and then a balloon of H2 was added and the reaction was stirred for 24 hours at room temperature. Next, the mixture was passed through a pad of celite and the solvent was concentrated providing the subtitled product that was used without further purification.
