Procedure
A solution of HCl in 1,4-dioxane (3.5 mL) was added to a solution of tert-butyl 2-chloro-4-(3-(5-cyanopyrazin-2-yl)ureido)phenethyl(2-methoxybenzyl)carbamate (1.1 g, 2.61 mmol) in DCM (80 mL) at −10° C. The mixture was stirred at −10° C. for 1 hour then pentane (100 mL) was added. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration and dried under reduced pressure to give the title compound (0.95 g, 92%) as a white solid.
