Procedure
To a solution of 2-chloro-5-nitropyridine (0.9 g) in EtOH (5 mL) was added N,N-diisopropylethylamine (2.9 mL) and 4-hydroxy-4-phenylpiperidine (1.5 g). The reaction mixture was heated at 140° C. for 20 min by microwave. Then the reaction mixture was cooled to RT, diluted with EtOAc (150 mL), washed with H2O (2×100 mL), saturated NH4Cl (3×100 mL), brine (1×100 mL), dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated to give B-1.
